On November 1, 2008, Meadowood was acquired by Five Star Quality Care, Inc. Established in 2000 and based in Newton, MA, Five Star is a publicly traded company listed on theAmerican Stock Exchange (trading symbol “FVE”). Five Star is one of the nation’s largest senior living companies, with projected annual
revenues of over one billion dollars. Five Star operates over 200 senior living communities consisting of assisted living, dementia care (or Alzheimer’sCare), independent living, skilled
